The creative flair of tireless designer Jean Puiforcat can be seen everywhere. Naturally, his prime focus was on the arts of the table, with the cutlery, butter dishes, sauce boats, candlesticks and coffee and tea services featuring his virtuoso Art Deco hallmark. But the 1,500 sterling silver pieces he designed for the Maison between 1920 and 1935 also include an array of clocks, toiletry cases and even  these deck of cards he designed together with his wife Marta – he imagined the figures while she chose the colors. Jean Puiforcat was truly the inventor of "fun" luxury, an art the Maison's silversmiths perpetuate even today.
