Image historique d'archive de la boîte visionnaire

As much a silversmith as an artist, and a man of his time, Jean Puiforcat masterfully combines the finesse of sterling silver with the pure lines of the Art Deco movement.

His talent as a designer is expressed in the reedition of a fine sterling silver box, based on a drawing from the 1930s.

Despite their apparent simplicity, the technical complexity of these delicate sterling silver volumes lies less in the perfection of their sharp angles than in the so‑called “invisible” hinges.

Through precise construction, the silversmith integrated the hinges—accurate to the millimeter—into the structure of the boxes, concealing them completely.

The eye is then free to focus on the flawless arrangement of colored‑stone cabochons — available in onyx, jade, or thulite — that adorn their lids (126 cabochons for the small model and 228 for the large one).

In this contemporary version, the Visionnaire boxes are lined with a soft suede insert, transforming them into a precious case for your jewelry.
