Etchéa - Art Déco 1937

Silver plated

Inspired by the Art Deco architecture of the Basque country, Jean Puiforcat displays his virtuoso savoir-faire as a master silversmith with this set, designed in 1937. The oblong shapes of the various silver-plated metal pieces blend simplicity and attention to detail. Their sides, decorated with fine vertical fluting, contrast harmoniously with the rounded shape of the rosewood handles. Metallic pearls enhance the top of the handles and add a touch of light to the ensemble. A refined dialogue between sophistication and simplicity.
