Displayed in the dining room of the Manik Bagh Palace in Indore, this iconic piece reveals the modernity and refinement that established Jean Puiforcat as one of the leading figures of the Art Deco movement.
The Tube Bowl, in turn, illustrates the modern character of the master silversmith’s aesthetic vision. Its rigorous composition reflects a constant pursuit of balance between visual lightness and structural precision.

Originally conceived as a trophy to honor achievements in prestigious sporting competitions, the so-called Beaded Bowl (bottom right on the album page) embodied the values of excellence and self-improvement associated with the world of sport. Produced in various sizes according to the winners’ rankings, it combined commemorative purpose with ornamental refinement.
