Granville

After diving into the kitchen environment with the Silversmith Knives collection, Puiforcat continues its exploration of the world of preparation and tasting. Through its collections, the House wishes to unite the kitchen counter and the dining room table.

Granville, the line of salt, pepper and spice mills (together with a spice box), launched in late 2019, now includes a Nutmeg mill and an Oil dispenser.

The shape at the service of the function

A contemporary interpretation of the House aesthetic, they stand out for their simple, architectural contours, while the decorative features are associated to their functionality. The height of the mills, as well as the proportions of the fluting patterns ornamenting their surface, indicate the seasoning inside: salt, pepper, spices or nutmeg.

A must-have

The oil dispenser, in wood and silver-plated brass casing protects the oil held in the inner flask. When placed on the table, the wooden cylinder holds the metal base.

Contemporary use

These pieces, made of silver-plated brass and walnut wood, were designed by Grégoire de Lafforest and engineered to accompany the chef’s hand, from preparation to tasting. The designer looks back on the design of this collection in an exclusive interview.
