Cannes

Sterling silver

Devoid of any superfluous ornamentation, this slender sterling silver flatware features only five fluted rings adorning its handle. Its disciplined silhouette is said by some observers to evoke the Art Deco–inspired façade of the Hôtel Martinez on the Riviera.

The Cannes collection, designed in 1928, held a special place in the heart of silversmith‑designer Jean Puiforcat: on the day of his wedding to Maria Estevez, it was this very flatware that graced the table.

The silver handles of the Cannes flatware are also available on request in a jewelled version, embellished with a jade stone or mahogany obsidian.
