Collection Normandie
Designed in 1934, this flatware was chosen for one of the restaurants on the eponymous ocean liner that linked New York to Le Havre. The pure forms and perfect geometry of this silver-plated model showcase Jean Puiforcat’s talent and make it a timeless design. The disc at the end of the handle may be engraved to customize this cutlery set.

Aboard the Normandie, the ocean liner that linked Le Havre and New York, cabins were equipped with knives, forks and spoons specially designed by Jean Puiforcat in 1934. Renamed in homage to the famous steamer and engraved with the initials of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, this flatware with its sober, rounded design remains one of the jewels in the House's catalogue. It has even been incorporated into the collections of the French Musée des Arts Décoratifs as a symbol of the style of 1930s France.
