The Cognac tumbler
Breathing new life in a tasting ritual
The House of Puiforcat partners with future stars of design to create the iconic pieces of tomorrow. Léo Dubreil, a student at the École Boulle in Paris, thus adapted the Maison's emblem, the famous tumbler, with cognac aficionados in mind. The budding designer created a sterling silver receptacle with a round and ample base to best exalt the potent aromas of the legendary brandy. Atop the vessel, a removable cover can be placed under the beaker as a playful and elegant base. Finally, the inside of the tumbler features a gilded finish to create graceful plays on light with the fiery mahogany hues of the cognac.
