They are the artists of taste, each in his own way, lifting all gastronomic experiences to the level of excellence. In partnership with the House of Puiforcat, they reinvent the art of wine tasting. Bruno Paillard, a great winemaker and oenologist from the Champagne region, contributed to the creation of Puiforcat's famous champagne tumbler: with its diminutive neck to bring out the aromas, its broad base to oxygenate the nectar and its vermiculating patterns to gently guide the bubbles, the design is as distinguished as it is rigorous.
Lombardy native and renowned sommelier Enrico Bernardo created a new type of wine glass together with London-based designer Michael Anastassiades. Spurning classic codes, the stem has been eliminated, while the conical bowl slows oxidation of great vintages which can now be tasted with a horizontal motion that makes it possible to reach all areas of the mouth.
Meanwhile, many-times Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, alongside Milan-based designer Gabriele Pezzini, imagined six professional-quality knives (bread knife, filleting knife, slicing knife, etc.) that combine superior elegance and cutting-edge technology, from the rosewood handles to the tip of the blade.
Not to forget the art of enjoying sweets. A cake dome, macaron stand, ice cream dish, dumbwaiter and much more, all designed with exquisite lines: Puiforcat's Argent Gourmand collection blends the virtuosity of Pierre Hermé, magician of pâtisserie, and champion of stark design Patrick Jouin. The unwavering pursuit of Puiforcat and its companions in prestige: to attain the upper reaches of taste.
